Professional Development

In-House Training:

At SDV, all new employees are given an extensive orientation. Training is provided in all areas, such as case management, computer operations, firm procedures, and support management.

We provide our employees with ongoing educational opportunities via frequent firm-wide seminars on relevant and emerging topics.

External Educational Opportunities:

We strongly encourage our employees to expand their knowledge by attending national and local seminars on issues relevant to the field of insurance coverage litigation.

Membership in Professional Organizations:

We encourage our employees to become members of professional organizations. Currently, SDV employees are members of organizations such as The Connecticut Bar Association, The American Bar Association, The American Health Lawyers Association, and The Connecticut Paralegals Association.
