Mr. Castillo focuses his practice on complex insurance coverage litigation and alternative dispute resolution of matters involving construction defects, commercial property loss, business interruption and other types of catastrophic loss.

Prior to joining SDV, Mr. Castillo was an attorney with a large regional insurance defense firm, where he exhibited comprehensive courtroom experience.

Mr. Castillo donates his time assisting Statewide Legal Services of Connecticut with their mission to support residents of Connecticut, on a pro bono basis, with varying legal issues. Mr. Castillo is fluent in Spanish.
