The International Risk Management Institute’s (IRMI) Construction Risk Conference allows professionals from multiple disciplines associated with construction risk management to share information, understand each others’ perspectives, and network with other industry members. The individuals and firms involved include contractors, project owners, design professionals, insurance professionals, and construction and insurance lawyers. SDV’s participation allows our attorneys to educate policyholder professionals. At the 2006 conference, Tracy Alan Saxe, Jeffrey J. Vita, Edwin L. Doernberger and Dana M. Mango each led a roundtable discussion concerning Design-Build Coverage for General Contractors, Additional Insured Issues, Pollution Insurance Coverage, and Builder’s Risk Policies, respectively. The conference was a success on all fronts, and we look forward to IRMI 2007.
