For the fifth consecutive year, SDV has been asked to participate in the International Risk Management Institute’s (IRMI) annual Construction Risk Management Conference. Tracy Alan Saxe will lead both a workshop and a roundtable discussion, and Jeffrey J. Vita and Alicia R. Bromfield will each lead a roundtable at the 27th annual conference to be held October 29-November 1, 2007 in Orlando, Florida. This conference is “the premier forum for sharing ideas and techniques for improving the ways we manage and insure construction risks. About 1,500 representatives of the construction and insurance industries, as well as many project owners, attend and experience first-hand the exceptional educational value and unparalleled networking opportunities the Conference offers.”Mr. Saxe will join Christopher T. Smith, National CCIP Director for Turner Construction Company, and Jason Weintraub, General Counsel for DRI Companies, to present “Lessons Learned on Wrap-Ups.” This seminar will discuss the experiences of sponsors and participating contractors and subcontractors who deal regularly with the owner controlled and contractor controlled wrap-up.
In addition, Mr. Saxe, Jeffrey J. Vita and Alicia R. Bromfield will each lead a roundtable discussion on Builders Risk Insurance and Weather Related Claims, What to Look for In Additional Insured Endorsements, and Design-Build Coverage for General Contractors, respectively.
The conference promises to be very enlightening, and SDV is
honored to have been invited to participate.
