Professional Activities:
Mr. Petela joined SDV in August of 2004 to provide support on bankruptcy and insurance litigation matters. His focus at SDV has been the areas of in bankruptcy, housing, and collections. Mr. Petela has extensive experience in the preparation of pleadings and discovery, as well as fact and data gathering in preparation for litigation. Mr. Petela also has experience with foreclosure, personal injury, and real estate matters. He has created and maintained the firm’s research and reference material database, indexed the firm’s library, and created protocols for litigation technology systems and closing of matters. Prior to joining SDV, Mr. Petela worked as a labor organizer for the Service Employees International Union. He is enrolled as an evening student at Quinnipiac University School of Law. |
