Ms. Augustauskas joined SDV as a summer associate in 2008 and started working as an associate in the fall of 2009, after her admission to the Connecticut Bar.

During law school, she interned at the Office of the Corporation Counsel in Waterbury, Connecticut and participated in a judicial externship, which placed her on the complex civil litigation docket in Waterbury. She was also a member of the editorial board of the Quinnipiac Law Review, and an active member of the Student Bar Association and the Animal Law Society. She received several awards throughout law school recognizing her academic achievement, including Excellence in Clinical Work and Academic Achievement in Legal Skills and Arbitration.
