Avery Cantor is a resident of the firm's West Coast office. He dedicates his practice to understanding complex coverage issues and litigating on behalf of policyholders. He has experience researching and resolving construction defect and business income loss claims and participates in trial preparation for complex litigation files. In addition, Avery is actively involved with the firm's Risk Transfer practice group through his work within the LaborGuard Program, performing policy reviews to ensure clients are adequately covered and compliant with state and local insurance requirements.
While in law school, Avery received a CALI Excellence Award in Contracts, served as Treasurer of the Advocacy and Litigation Society, and was actively involved with the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Avery initially came to SDV through the firm's Summer Associate program and joined the firm as an Associate upon graduating from law school.
Avery is fluent in Spanish and, as a history major, enjoys furthering his studies in ancient history in his spare time. He is an avid golfer and a devoted Chargers fan. Avery currently resides in Orange County, California.
