A resident of the firm's West Coast office, Rebecca dedicates her practice to representing policyholders involved in complex insurance coverage disputes. She plays a critical role in securing insurance coverage for policyholders who are facing a broad array of losses, including catastrophic construction events, environmental accidents, construction defects, and homeowner losses. In addition, she is a member of the firm's Natural Disaster Recovery Practice Group, which focuses on helping clients manage risk and recovery losses, on behalf of policyholders, after a natural disaster. Rebecca also works within the LaborGuard Program, a subset of the firm's Risk Transfer practice group, routinely performing policy reviews to ensure clients are adequately insured and in compliance with local, state, and federal insurance requirements. Her expertise with a wide variety of insurance coverage allows her to advise her clients with regard to the successful resolution of their coverage disputes.
Rebecca comes to SDV following a career in the military, having spent several years in the U.S. Marine Corps prior to law school, where she rose to the rank of Captain. Rebecca was also the proud recipient of the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and a Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for meritorious service from 2011 through 2016.
While in law school, Rebecca was the Moot Court Honors Board CEO and served as Associate Editor of the Law Review and the International Law Journal. She was also a judicial extern for the Honorable Justice Judith Haller of the California Court of Appeal, Fourth District.
Rebecca enjoys rock climbing, snowboarding, and being outside in her spare time. She currently resides in San Diego, CA.
