Alex is experienced in arbitration and mediation and has negotiated and secured insurance coverage for several clients subject to federal and state governmental investigations.

Alexandra O’Neill has devoted her entire career to exclusively fighting for the rights of policyholders in complex insurance disputes. Alex is experienced in all facets of litigation, as well as alternate dispute resolution processes.

In addition to her active litigation practice, Alex assists clients in assessing their insurance programs and risk transfer strategies, drafting policy and contract language, analyzing coverage for claims, and securing coverage pre-litigation. Alex routinely issues coverage opinions relating to general liability, builder’s risk, commercial property, cyber liability, professional liability, directors and officers, employment practices liability, commercial auto, motor carrier liability, life, excess, and umbrella policies.

Alex is on the Board of Directors for the Women Builders Council. She is also an adjunct professor at Quinnipiac University School of Law in North Haven, Connecticut. Alex is a regularly published author on risk management and insurance coverage issues facing the construction industry and is invited to speak on those same topics at nationwide conferences.

Alex was selected to the New England Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
