Alison “Ali” Hansen is an associate in the firm’s West Coast office where she focuses her practice on representing commercial policyholders in builder’s risk and professional liability coverage matters.
Alison “Ali” Hansen is an associate in the firm’s West Coast office where she focuses her practice on representing commercial policyholders in builder’s risk and professional liability coverage matters. Prior to joining SDV, she litigated complex construction defect and personal injury cases, providing her with a rigorous litigation foundation that informs her coverage practice.
Ali is a graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law, where she served as President of Pride Law and received honors in Advanced Trial Advocacy. She holds dual degrees in English and Biology from Quinnipiac University and completed an honors thesis exploring gender and legal history.
She is admitted to the State Bar of California and has contributed to legal scholarship through publications on child maltreatment reporting during the COVID-19 pandemic and informal discovery in dangerous condition cases.
Outside of her legal practice, Ali enjoys camping, reading, and curating her ever-growing record collection.
