Gunter A. Fernandez Associate

Gunter Fernandez comes to SDV as an experienced litigator having litigated both criminal and significant civil cases. Gunter leverages the knowledge and skills he gained as a personal injury trial attorney to advocate on behalf of policyholders in complex insurance coverages disputes. He works with an array of policyholders, including construction companies and commercial property owners. He regularly handles claims involving several types of insurance policies, including commercial property, general liability, builder’s risk, directors and officers, and other commercial policies.

While at Ava Maria School of Law, Gunter was awarded the Law Review Senior Editor of the Year as well as a Dean’s Scholarship. Gunter also litigated immigration cases for the Ave Maria School of Law Asylum Clinic.

Gunter is a resident of SDV’s Southeast Office. He resides in Naples. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, landscape photography, and playing pickleball.
