Kyle A. Bechet Associate

Kyle A. Bechet focuses his practice on representing policyholders in sophisticated insurance coverage matters. He has helped policyholders recover millions from their insurance carriers in first-party and third-party coverage disputes, including commercial property business interpretation claims and high-value, long-tail, bodily-injury liability claims. He also advises corporate clients on downstream risk-transfer strategy.

Kyle served as the Managing Editor of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal before graduating from the University of Connecticut School of Law with an Insurance Law and Regulation Certificate. Prior to joining SDV, Kyle litigated against the nation’s most elite law firms while representing businesses and high-net-worth individuals in complex business disputes.

Kyle is a resident of SDV’s Northeast office, residing with his wife and feline family in Southington, Connecticut. In his spare time, Kyle enjoys traveling and mentoring law students at his alma mater.
