Kyle A. Rudolph is an attorney in SDV’s West Coast office. His practice focuses on litigating complex insurance coverage issues on behalf of commercial policyholders. He routinely navigates clients through challenging first-party and third-party insurance disputes, and provides advice to facilitate prospective risk transfer. Kyle is well-versed on the coverage issues policyholders face in commercial and civil construction, executive management, environmental compliance, healthcare, and agriculture.
Kyle is a graduate of University of San Diego School of Law where he was selected as the Editor of the San Diego Journal of Climate and Energy Law and appointed to the Order of Barristers national honor society. During his law school career, Kyle litigated cases as a certified law student for the Women’s Legal Clinic. He also worked as a legal extern in both the Office of General Counsel, Naval Information Warfare Pacific, and for the Honorable Andrew G. Schopler, United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
After serving in the Navy as a Petty Officer First Class, including a combat deployment in Afghanistan, Kyle provided emergency medical coverage and support for SEAL TEAM 17 in the U.S Navy Reserve. In his spare time, Kyle enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, competing in marathons, Ironman races, off-roading, and volunteering for veterans’ organizations.
