Madeline Walsh Associate

Madeline Walsh is an Associate in SDV’s Massachusetts office. She focuses her practice on insurance coverage and litigation, representing policyholders in complex coverage disputes and counseling clients on insurance related risk management issues.

Prior to joining SDV, Madeline’s practice focused on advising insurers on complex coverage disputes, as well as representing both insurers and insureds in a variety of litigation matters. Through this work, she gained valuable insight into claim evaluation, coverage analysis, risk assessment, and insurer decision making. She now leverages that experience to advocate for policyholders and advise insurance brokers and corporate risk management teams on all lines of coverage.

Madeline earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts School of Law, where she served as President of the Student Bar Association, Staff Editor of the UMass Law Review, President of the Legal Association of Women, and was a Teaching Assistant for Torts I and II. She also earned her Master of Business Administration from UMass Dartmouth, graduating with a 4.0 GPA, and her Bachelor of Science in Management, summa cum laude, from UMass Boston.

Madeline resides in Massachusetts with her husband and rescue dog. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, going to the beach, and volunteering with both local and Caribbean based animal rescues.
