Mark M. Mercer is a Senior Associate in the firm’s West Coast office where he represents commercial policyholders in complex insurance claim disputes, leveraging his expertise to navigate intricate coverage issues, resolve claim denials, and advocate for the best interests of policyholders in high-stakes disputes. With a legal career spanning more than two decades, Mark brings a comprehensive approach to litigation matters and is committed to providing strategic, results-oriented legal counsel to his clients.

Mark has a strong background in construction and real estate law. In his prior practice, he provided general counsel services to local government agencies and assisted developers with entitlement, environmental, and regulatory issues for residential and commercial development projects. He has extensive experience with drafting and negotiating construction and design professional contracts, managing contractor claims, and ensuring compliance with key regulations.

Mark is a Marine Corps Veteran and actively serves his community through his involvement with the Tierrasanta Kiwanis Club. In his free time, he enjoys rooting for all Los Angeles-based sports teams and for his alma mater, Ohio State.
