Rachel Pearson comes to SDV with a strong background in litigation, having represented clients in a wide variety of state and federal litigation matters.
Rachel Pearson is a Partner at Saxe Doernberger & Vita, P.C., where she focuses on transactional risk transfer and policyholder-side insurance recovery and litigation. She advises clients on complex coverage strategies involving a wide range of policies, including Builder’s Risk, Commercial General Liability (CGL), Commercial Property, Cyber Liability, Commercial Crime, Directors & Officers (D&O), and Employment Practices Liability (EPL).
Before joining SDV, Rachel built a strong litigation foundation representing clients in medical malpractice, product liability, and general negligence matters across state and federal courts. She brings this litigation insight to her current practice, helping clients proactively manage risk and resolve insurance disputes efficiently.
Rachel has authored legal publications and presented to professionals on developments in insurance law and litigation. Her work has earned her repeated recognition in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch and Connecticut Super Lawyers Rising Stars. She earned her B.A., cum laude, from Providence College and her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law. Rachel is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York, as well as before the U.S. District Courts and the Second, Third, and Sixth Circuit Courts of Appeal.
