Thomas P. Rechtin Associate

Thomas P. Rechtin is an insurance coverage attorney dedicated to advocating on behalf of policyholders in disputes against insurance companies. He has successfully secured coverage for clients throughout the claims process and has extensive experience in first-party insurance litigation involving homeowners, automobile, life insurance, property, and other policies. Prior to focusing his practice solely on policyholder representation, Thomas worked in general civil litigation, including contract disputes, estate planning, and family law.

Thomas discovered his passion for insurance coverage law after his career as an English professor, drawing a connection between his passion for reading and writing with the intricacies of insurance coverage law and policy interpretation. A true scholar, Thomas earned his Master’s degree in Fine Arts and a PhD in English before attending law school.

Thomas is a resident of the firm’s Southeast office in Naples, Florida.
